so in other words, after setting one paragraph to have a hanging indent, my line spacing is permanently altered for the rest of the document, even though the line spacing is still clearly set to be single space (i checked this under format -> paragraph). this continues to be true for the rest of the document. i tried to show this in the post by adding the line of "++++" to show that there is more space between this last line and the last line of the preceding paragraph than between any two adjacent lines in the paragraph itself. if i put my cursor at the spot indicated and then hit enter, then the words "Some random text here" will be farther apart than any of the lines in the paragraph. i'm estimating that the line spacing changes to about 1.3 to 1.6, but it definitely is no longer single space. perfect right? well, not quite.Īfter i set this paragraph to have a hanging indent, my line spacing is completely messed up. after i do this, the "slider" on the horizontal ruler splits into two pieces, to allow me to define just how much i would like the indent to be. i then highlight this paragraph and go to format -> styles and formatting or just press f11. let's say i just finished writing the paragraph shown above to illustrate my "normal" indent. The problem is that when i try to write a hanging indent, it messes up the spacing between lines. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. I read in other posts that it cant be done with csl. I want the block after the author-date-block to be justified (Blocksatz). I tried different settings in the Visual Editor but either the whole entry jumped a little to the right or nothing at all happened. Code: Select all The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. It would be perfect if the block under the author-date-block is indented.
